The short version

PdfAutoScroll does not collect, transmit or store your personal data. Your

documents stay on your device.

What the app stores, and where

Everything below is stored only on your device, in the app's private

storage. None of it is uploaded to us or to anyone else.

• Your documents. When you add a PDF, the app saves its own copy so the

file is still there after the original moves or is deleted. When you scan a

document, the resulting PDF is saved the same way.

• Your library index. The titles, sizes and dates shown in the list.
• Your reading positions. Which page you had reached in each document.

Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.

The camera

The scanner uses Google Play Services' on-device document scanner. Pages are

processed on your device and turned into a PDF locally. No image or

document is sent to a server by this app.

Sharing a document

When you tap Export, the app hands the file to Android's share sheet and you

choose where it goes. What happens after that is governed by the privacy

policy of whichever app you chose.

Purchases

Pro is a one-time purchase processed by Google Play. We never see or

receive your payment details. Google tells the app only whether the purchase

exists, so it can unlock Pro. Your purchase is tied to your Google account,

which is why it comes back automatically when you reinstall.

Accounts

There are none. The app has no sign-in and no user accounts.

Analytics and advertising

This version contains no analytics and no advertising.

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone.

Changes

If a future version starts collecting anything, this policy will be updated

before that version is released, and the change will be described here.
